9000 TEXTBOOKS FOR FIJI RNZAF - 30TH JULY, 2022 The Fiji Association has partnered with the NZ Defence Force and NZ High Commission, in arranging for 9000 more textbooks for senior students in Fiji secondary schools. The textbooks are revision materials in a range of subjects including English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Accounting, and Biology. The consignment valued at $25,000, will be handed over by the NZ High Commissioner Charlotte Darlow to Minister of Education Premila Kumar. The Ministry of Education will allocate the books to needy schools, particularly in remote areas for students in time for revision work for exams. Our grateful thanks to the NZ Defence Force for providing assistance. This follows a large consignment sent earlier containing 104,000 similar textbooks which the RNZAF delivered to Fiji.
